Helen returned to the UK after working as a Convention Manager for Marriott International in New York. Before working in the United States, Helen's previous roles were as an Event Manager for the NEC Group at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham and as Export Promotions Coordinator at the Birmingham & Solihull Learning Skills Council. Helen is responsible for the Centre at a managerial and strategic level and for the relationship with the partner organisations.

Sara has been working within Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry for over 15 years and has been with the Centre since its launch in 2003. In her role at the Centre she develops and coordinates a programme of activities linked to key trade shows at the NEC, which includes the provision of support for Trade & Investment Officers from UKTI overseas posts. Sara also assists with the development of programmes for international visitors through the Inward Mission Scheme, by working with the Centre's regional and national partners as well as various trade associations.

Nearly ten years ago Victoria worked as an Event Coordinator for the British Jewellery and Giftware Federation’s export services team, where she worked on Trade Missions and Events in Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and India as well as the Autumn and Spring Fair at the NEC. She then moved sectors and for the last eight years has worked in the Marketing and PR area of a women’s organisation.

Now she has come full circle and is once again working within the world of international trade at the International Trade Promotion Centre, based at the NEC as Event & Marketing Coordinator. In addition to event management Victoria’s new role will, through development and delivery of a full PR and Marketing plan, focus on raising the profile of the Centre as well as the services of all its four partners: UK Trade and Investment, Advantage West Midlands, BCI and Locate in Birmingham.

Victoria, who was born and brought up in Birmingham is keen to be back in the exhibition world of international trade and is delighted to be working with the ITPC team. Victoria commented “Birmingham and the West Midlands, has a lot to offer as a business centre and I hope my marketing knowledge and passion for the area encourages further international investment’.

Helen Grice, Manager of the Centre would like to welcome Victoria and commented “Victoria brings valuable skills to the team and I’m delighted to have her on board”.

Kim Knowles recently joined the team as the Centre’s Inward Investment Coordinator. Working with the our partners Advantage West Midlands and Locate in Birmingham, Kim will be developing an inward investment strategy aimed at providing assistance to overseas companies exhibiting or visiting the NEC that wish to invest in the UK and specifically in the West Midlands.
